The duo called A Winged Victory For The Sullen wasn’t meant to be an ongoing project. Adam Wiltzie of the ambient music band Stars of the Lid and acclaimed film composer Dustin O’Halloran thought they were making a one-off record together, fifteen years ago. But the collaboration continued to bear fruit, and A Winged Victory For The Sullen has now made four studio albums, a dance score, and two film soundtracks.
