Alabama Shakes were an immediate hit when they released their debut album back in 2012. Led by charismatic singer and guitarist Brittney Howard, the band toured widely, released chart-topping albums, and won a bunch of Grammys. But then, Alabama Shakes went on hiatus, while Howard and some of the other members pursued solo careers. Now, they’re back, with a new album, I Must Be Dreaming, which came out on Friday, and they’re back on the road with their signature blend of R&B, soul, and rock. The reunited Alabama Shakes play Radio City Music Hall on Wednesday, Sept. 2.
