Born in Germany but based in Brooklyn, Charlotte Greve has become a sought-after sax player, especially on the new music circuit here in New York. But she’s also a singer, and leads an indie pop group called Wood River. Her latest album, her tenth, is called Waterbodies, and seems to exist at the junction of those two worlds. Art songs with a pop sensibility, Greve’s music often has a hazy, electronically-altered sound. Charlotte Greve is part of an intriguing double bill with composer/bandleader Kaoru Watanabe on Oct. 14 at National Sawdust, in Williamsburg
