Brooklyn singer-songwriter Elizabeth Ziman had early classical training, but her long-running band called Elizabeth & The Catapult is more of an indie-folk-rock affair, although her arrangements are often quite subtle and clever. Her lyrics are an interesting mix as well – honest and vulnerable, but often shot through with a wry sense of humor. She plays an early show tomorrow night, on October 28, at The Bitter End.
