Argentine singer, musician, and producer Juana Molina, whose eighth album "Doga" released to critical acclaim last year, performs live for today's episode of Soundcheck.
Argentine singer, musician, and producer Juana Molina occupies a unique place in the global pop scene. She got her start as an actor and comedian in a hit Argentine TV series in the 90s – a job that she candidly admitted taking just so she could fund her music career. Well that music career has now extended to 8 studio albums, the latest called Doga, and all of those records are full of Molina’s distinctive brand of experimental yet catchy electronically-altered pop. Her live session from our studio is today’s episode of Soundcheck, our twice weekly podcast. Available wherever you get podcasts or at soundcheck.org
